Our Story
Traditional methods meet modern aesthetics. Every piece is made by hand, one at a time.

Origins
WestCraft Wood Working was born in a modest New Jersey garage, where a passion for natural materials met an obsession with precision. What started as weekend experiments with live-edge walnut and epoxy resin quickly grew into something much larger—a commitment to creating heirloom-quality pieces that bring warmth and intention to everyday rituals.
Today, every board, plaque, and coaster is still made by hand, one piece at a time. We believe that the best work comes from understanding not just the material, but the person it’s made for. That’s why each commission starts with a conversation—about your table, your traditions, and the moments you want to elevate.
Our Process
Three deliberate steps transform raw timber into a piece you’ll reach for every day.
We hand-select every live-edge slab from sustainably managed hardwood suppliers across the Northeast. Each plank is chosen for its unique grain character, natural edge profile, and structural integrity.
Custom-pigmented epoxy resins are carefully mixed and poured to complement each slab's natural beauty. We use UV-resistant, food-safe formulations that preserve clarity and color for generations.
Every piece receives multiple coats of food-safe hardwax oil, hand-buffed between applications. The result is a silky, matte finish that protects the wood while letting its natural warmth shine through.

Every slab is personally chosen for grain character and structural integrity.
Matched to your vision with UV-resistant pigments.
Hardwax oil that protects without compromising safety.
Every piece is built to your specifications, from dimensions to resin color.
